Guys, when I open a new Word document (or any other application window) how do I get it to open at a certain position on the screen? I know there's a way, like holding down the Command button or something and moving the document, and then next time you open a document it'll open in the same position.

I've tried the Command button method, but that didn't work. Any other suggestions?

"Move a window to one side of the screen: Press and hold the Option key while you move the pointer over the green button

in the top-left corner of the window, then choose Move Window to Left Side of Screen or Move Window to Right Side of Screen from the menu that appears.'

Thanks guys. But sorry. I think I didn't explain myself well.

What I want is, when I open a Word, Excel or power point document, I want any document I open to open on the middle of the screen. Right now it opens in the rigght of the screen.

I'm using old school el capitan and I know there is a way of doing this, I just can't remember how.
