Universal Opening a zipped document

I have a zipped PDF document saved on my phone but how do I open it? Is there not an app I can use on both my iPhone & iPad that will assist?

If the ZIP file is in Mail or Messages, you can open it from within the app. But otherwise I believe you will need a third party app like iZip or similar.

There is a trick here here top open ZIP files in Notes also.
