I am planning to buy a new iMac within the next two months once WWDC has been and gone, once new intels are released etc just incase somthing happens....

Im planning to get the most expensive version mainly because it has the faster CPU and better graphics cards, but still has 2gb of ram. Im going to upgrade to 4 gb but i am going to install the ram my self, very easy, even easier than installing in a desktop PC. But apparently, after speaking to the apple people online it voids the warrenty. But if you look on there site in a section which explains how you install ram, it doesnt say anything about the warrenty

http://support.apple.com/kb/HT1760?locale=en_GB

i was just wondering if it was ok to actually install the ram. ive also heard that a few iMac screens are a bit dodgy so i may end up getting the apple care, does anyone know if it will void that as well, ive tried looking on the apple site. no luck
