I did a search trying to find this same issue, but came up blank. Surely, I'm not the only one.

When I tap to open some (not all) of the apps on my iPhone 7 Plus, for a brief moment, the icon on the home screen is blown up to full screen size (and distorted as it's now rectangular instead of square), pauses, then the app goes to it's normal splash screen.

It's happened more than once and has happened to a few apps from different developers.

Anyone else? Or, is there a thread on this already?

Thanks.

This has happened to me a few times on my iPad mini 4 running iOS 10 and 10.1 beta. It's only occurred on third party apps and not stock ones, I think...super weird.

I wonder if it's a product of issues with iOS 10 animations that I'm reading about?
