Greetings again everyone!

OK. First my apologies if im asking something that's aready been asked. I've searched and searched but didn't really find a definitive answer. Simply put:

* can i open an indesign CS2 file in indesign CS3?

I know it probably sounds like a silly question, but just wanted to get more info before i make the plunge to CS3.

thanks in advance! :)

Re: opening CS3 in CS3

Not sure if you can do a direct open, but I am certain you can export to InDesign Interchange (INX) format and open it that way. Hope this helps.

CS3 will open .indd files from any previous InDesign (as far as I can tell...at least it opens CS1 and CS2 files).

To open a CS3 file in InDesign CS1 or CS2, you have to export the CS3 file as an InDesign Exchange file (.inx) and then open that in CS1 or CS2.
