iOS Opening ipad games from another application

if i have downloaded, lets say 4 games from itunes and now, suppose i m building an ipad application which has a section called leisure section which shows the list of all available (4) games and user can select any one game, play it and return back to the application...

Is this possible??

Unless the games provide a URL schema to launch them it's not possible. There is no generic API to close your application and launch another one.
