Opening Programme Problem

Hello,
I've been trying to figure this problem for sometime.
I have a photographic programe installed correctly on my iMac.

However when I press to application icon to open the programe it does not do so.
A slight movement on the screen takes place but nothing else.

What could be causing this problem I wonder.

Some programmes will do that if they aren't compatible for your iOS/macOS version.
(try checking the apps requirements, or if there is an updated version.)

Or, try finding an older version of the programme.
