openning a .pub file

So I just received a file via email and its a .pub - I'm assuming from a windows machine. Its a quote for work, so I need to open it, yet I don't know what app will do it?

Anyone have an idea?

i'm pretty sure that's a microsoft publisher file.. in which case you'll have trouble opening it..

in fact, do microsoft still even make MS Publisher? i don't think they do..(i just installed office 2003 and it wasn't included..)

perhaps pages will open it?

I have had to deal with this a lot. It is indeed a Microsoft Publisher file. To this date I have not found any mac app that can open it. You will have to ask the PC user to change it to a .pdf or .doc file.
