well if your on 5.0.1 jailbreak you need to reboot the device..had this issues too..seems like a bug..when you turn SSH of via SBSettings it will turn off only and will not turn on if you toggle the on button..it will still show its on but not be able to link with cyber duck/winscp ect..just need to reboot and it will be on.. i read this on here..search button

hmmm...im on 4.2.8
and even after a reboot it still doesn work..bummer
