Hi,

I'm trying to use openURL to send an SMS message. I've found that:

sms:12345

will indeed launch SMS and fill in the TO with "12345" however I'd like to fill the body and leave the TO blank.

does anyone know how to do this? I've ben trying the same format that mailto: supports but it appears not to work :(

any ideas?

I'm pretty sure there was another thread about this a while ago where someone put in some effort to figure out how to set the body with no luck.

Try sms:12345?body=Test, sms:12345&body=123

I would think it would me, body, content, message, q or some sort of parameter.

seems like another very useful API feature is missing.

Has anyone else also noticed that if you create a URI to allow one app to call another.. it does work from mail!! kinda the most important one I'd think.
