Hi all,

I currently have an iPhone 8 I'd like to change. Someone close to me has a brand new and unopened iPhone 11 Pro that would be willing to sell me for around 850 euro (retail price was 1,159). 100% legit phone.

With the keynote and the presentation of iPhone 12 mini starting at 815 euro I'm not really sure which one should I buy.

I really like the design of the iPhone 12 mini, the processor and the smaller footprint but on the other hand, iPhone 11 Pro has a better camera and bigger battery.

What would you do?
 
I’d go for the mini personally. Giving up telephoto for 5G, slightly smaller display and faster chip with MagSafe being a cool feature. Display wise they should be the same other than the 11 pro can get brighter in some situations.

Thoughts on battery life on one vs the other? Coming from an Iphone 8 I'm winning either way, but there's quite a difference between 11 pro and 12 mini, at least from what we know until now.

I can’t say for sure on your use case but I never worry about battery on my 11 pro and if I do need to charge I’ve got a fast charger.
