Hey all,

I'm (well, me and two other people) are in the process of developing a new and unique iPhone app. We finally settled on a logo and name, and just wanted to see if this "clicks" with anyone here. It won't be released for a few months, but hopefully it will see some success! Let me know what you think (we physically created this logo, but the center is supposed to be a fork and knife crossing together).

I used TIMG tags, click the picture to enlarge!

So this is what you've been working on!

Looks good except I think the fork and knife need more definition (with tines and ridges). However with vinyl cutters small sizes might make that difficult, in which case I would say to make them thinner overall, and a bit longer so the part of each where the width changes can be seen. Right now with the sticker it is difficult to see the knife and fork, it looks like an X.

Otherwise very good, goes with the App name and is recognizable and easy to remember!

Very well executed but I do agree regarding the outlines of the fork and knife needing to stand out more.

Thanks for the feedback!

I'll post a copy of our digital logo as well that has the detail (this was just something we made for pictures on the website).

This logo still has our old name, but you can see the center with more detail.

I like the concept.

But the one thing that strikes me is that the ticket takes up a lot of space, with most of that real estate not going to the name of your company or the illustration describing your services.

I'd look at cropping the ticket so that only 1/2 of it — and one end of the stub — showed. I think you'd be able to enlarge your company name and take better advantage of the space being used.
