Opportunity knocking...

I have an opportunity to purchase this beauty for only $550 from someone who's needing the funds..

I see that MacVidCards has an option to flash cards like these….

Anyone suggest a secondary power supply that I don't have to do any hard wiring with…not interested in splitting and splicing cables and that seems to be the only posts i've noticed on these Forums.

What I'm hoping to do is put the secondary power supply into the second 5.25 bay and run its power leads to the Nvidia Card…

Any suggestions?

I think on one of the other threads about video cards someone mentioned the fans in that one are annoying (and possibly in the Newegg reviews).

I picked up a (apparently) brand new FSP Booster PSU off of Ebay at a good price a couple weeks ago. Newegg has been sold out of those for months and, last I checked, were another $50 more expensive on Amazon (because Amazon itself is out of it as well).

Regardless, I'm sure both will do the job. I'm currently running it outside of the case as I'm loathe to mangle the case to make everything fit.
