Opps I think my wife just $%£@£$ up

My wife has a white iPhone 3G (16 GB I think) and she just updated it in iTunes and now she cant use it
I checked in settings>about and this is what she has;
Version 3.1.3 (7E18)
Modem Firmware 05.12.01

Is she screwed or can we get this puppy back working again

I have a black 3G running 3.1.3 and the same modem firmware and have no issues using my phone. You'll get a better answer if you say what about it isn't working.

Put the phone in recovery mode, then teach your wife a lesson.

Sorry I forgot to say that we are in Thailand and my wife is using a Thai SIM card so her phone was unlocked and Jailbroken but since the update she cannot use her phone with the Thai SIM card

Obviously you should have mentioned this in the first post. Try to find a way to downgrade your firmware.

I think I read somewhere that if you tried to update a Jailbroken iPhone this is exactly what would happen. Kinda like Apple's self destruct for "Jailbroken" phones... There is no fix....

Yep, she messed up big.
You wont be able to use it on any unofficial provider.
You can still JB a 3G model but the unlock is gone for now.
Maybe in the future they'll have an unlock for the latest baseband.

You can downgrade the firmware on a 3G and 2G models but you cant downgrade the baseband thats been updated. So cannot be unlocked, just jailbroken.

OK so I just jailbroke the phone and installed the fuzzyband program from cydia but that program says I am on 05.09 Bootloader so I guess my wife is screwed (for now anyway)
