Hello!

For a few days the optimized load on my iPhone 13 Pro is failing. It doesn't charge up to 80% and I have alarms to wake me up as usual.

Does somebody knows why it could be?

Same here but I have a 12 Pro. I tried the trick(Turn off optimized, then force restart, then enable optimized the next day), still going straight to 100%. I don't believe I had this issue prior to the 15.1 update.

Even when it works, delaying a 100% charge a few hours isn’t going to significantly increase the lifespan of the battery. Don’t even turn it on. It’s worthless.
A far better solution is to get a HomeKit compatible smart plug and set up a charging automation in the Shortcuts App to turn off the charger when the battery charge rises above 80%. Always works every time.

Optimized charging is by far the dumbest feature in iOS. It worked for 2 months after getting the phone and now it’s stopped for no reason, my sleep/wake schedule hasn’t changed. It would be so much better if they let the user manually choose what time to fully charge the phone by in settings. Sometimes the old school way is far superior than some fancy machine learning AI regression model.

Significant Locations has nothing to do with my 13PM and optimised charging.
