Is optimized battery charging working for anyone? My launch day Pro Max goes straight to 100% every night. I’ve put it on charge and woken up at same time every night since I’ve had it so seems like it would know my routine by now.

Same for me. your supposed to get notifications for when this is activated.

It works fine here. It seems to be a bit on the safe side and hits 100% a couple of hours before I wake up, but it stays at 80% for a long while before going up to 100%.

It was working for me...when I was on the betas 😂 I haven't seen it work ever since the official releases have come out.

funny, i was about to start this thread just now. it's not working yet, and i did just read that it can take several weeks, but i'm a bit confused as to why - if my alarm is set to 8:03am daily, why can't this ingenious pattern finder use that as a hint?

Working good for me. I plug it in at bedtime, it charges to 80% then holds until 3:30 am when it kicks back in and finishes it to 100%. The first time it did it I got a notification on my lockscreen that said something like, "your phone will start charging again at 3:30 am".

It still needs to figure out somewhat of your routine and consistency of your schedule.

Maybe if you set Bedtime alerts instead of ordinary ones it would figure it out. Haven’t tried it myself though.

At first, I disabled the feature completely since my schedule is so not consistent because I change shifts several times during the week and it seems it would do more harm than good, but then I figured I’d give it a try anyway, maybe it’s smarter than we think it is and I generally don’t need a 100% charged battery most of the time. Will see how it goes.

Consistency is my biggest issue as well. I go to bed at the same time every night, but depending on the day, I’m up any time between 4-6am. Maybe I‘ll stick with 4am regardless of day for a while and see if that does anything!

iPhone 11 Pro 13.1.2 using wireless charger. Optimized charging still not working for me.

It never worked for me, in the betas or now (on both an XS Max and an 11 Pro Max)

Working on my 6S. I noticed it stopped when I changed my routine slightly then started again but then stopped again as my routine changed. In my experience so far it looks like it needs a consistent routine for it to work consistently (aka obvious things are obvious).

Optimized charging just started to work for me last night. I’ve had iOS 13 since its first release date so it takes several weeks for this feature to start working.

Do you have Bedtime set via Clock.app? Wondering if this has anything to do with it working or not

Following up on this one. This just started working for me last night. So I guess it takes awhile to really learn your schedule.
