Hi all, I have a photography website and am also getting the rMBP 13" (arriving hopefully by the end of this week...).

Anyways, I've been trying to optimize the website for retina displays. The files are all around 2880x1800px, but I had to compress them a bit. Original sizes were around 4-5MB and compressed down to around 2 MB, which is still large but I didn't want to compress them too much.

Just wondering if anyone who has a retina display could check it out for me and tell me how it looks. For some reason, the site looks fine on Chrome and Safari, but the resolution is bumped down on Firefox (no idea why...).

If the photos don't look alright on retina in terms of resolution, any tips? Really would like to not have to have the super large files if possible. You can find the link here
