A couple of weeks ago I purchased a Samsung HT-AS730S 5.1 Receiver System. One of the draws was that it came with an I-Pod docking system. Upon trying this feature out I quickly came to realize that you cannot scroll through songs or get to playlists through the I-Pod. It is all done through the remote control of the system. Songs automatically start at the first song on the I-Pod and you have to advance forward song by song.
This is EXTREMELY frustrating as I have over 1600 songs on it!!!! So getting from A to Z is ridiculous!
I called Samsung about this and he could only tell me that there was no way around the dock to be able to scroll through the songs.
My question is if there is another way to hook up the I-Pod to the system so I can have this option? I don't really care about the actual dock. I just want to be able to get to my play lists or be able to shuffle. Even if I have to purchase a separate type of docking system would be fine. This is my last resort or else I think I will be returning the system.
