Orange gradient in iCloud.com

What's the deal with that new Orange gradient in iCloud.com? Is that here to stay, or is it a temporary lapse in judgement by the design team?

It's a change to the moving bubbles look - and presumably here to stay...until they change it.

Just noticed it and was about to post about to until I saw this. I didn't know if it was a redesign or if it was a fake website redirect, like in the article here. I guess that is a redesign, but not the prettiest, though. I wish that they would give us the option of setting a custom Wallpaper for iCloud.com because it would make it look much nicer (in some cases).
