I have orbmedia, which worked really well up until I upgraded to Windows 7. I have been back and forth with Orb support staff for weeks now trying to solve the issue to no avail. Has anyone else had this problem?? If so, have you found a fix? (Other than switching back to Vista, of course.) I've tried running it in compatibility mode in Windows 7, that didn't help.

I am extremely frustrated with this. I don't recommend anyone buy an Orb app until they get the compatibility issues worked out.

As far as I can tell it's a codec issue. The latest version of Orb works fine when I connect to it using a computer or a WinMo phone but the iPhone Orb app eventually throws up a message about a time-out connecting to channel X and that it's moving to the next channel. The time-out is enough of a pain in the ass but that it starts changing channels on it's own is a real drag. I've gotten the impression that Orb is working on the problems but the wheels of progress are going very slowly. It's also why I almost always use Slingplayer.

Maybe I should have been more specific. Orb won't recognize any of the files I try to load into the program. NONE. It's also not the iPhone app that's the problem, because it does it when trying to remote stream via PC as well. It's a Windows 7/Orb compatibility issue FOR SURE. I refresh the files, the program appears to be working; but when trying to stream via the iPhone app or the Orb mycast site both windows show no files. Just "No files found".
