Finally ordered the 13" Touchbar with i5-2.9 Processor, 16GB RAM and 256 SSD. Next up is an adapter for it. Apple has the one with USB HDMI and the charging port but I am looking for something like https://www.amazon.com/Satechi®-Type-c-USB-3-0-Hub/dp/B015YRD8PC

Please let me know if there is any links you find. Thanks.

In short there are NO usb-c adapters other than the one made by Apple that are compatible and work flawlessly. We are getting there, slowly. I was hoping that Apple was going to announce or at least silently release some new adapters, including a docking station today but I guess not.

Well, USB-C is USB, so you'll be able to find USB-C versions of the same cables you're used to so you don't need an adapter for a lot of things.

Any USB end you'd like is a available in USB-C termination, whether it's micro-USB for android phones/external batteries/etc, or the wide USB 3.0 micro for external hard drives. Apple makes a USB-C to lightning too for iOS devices.

That being said, it's probably a bit too early to expect a hub like the one you linked, but surely MBP-specific hubs like that which won't block the second port will start popping up soon.
