Order music in playlist?

Hi,

I recently moved from Spotify to Apple Music after years. Enjoying it so far but one massive feature (for me at least) that seems to be missing is the ability to order a playlist content by ascending or descending according to date added. After some searching it seems that this is not possible. However you can do it on the Mac 'Music' app.

What an earth are Apple thinking? Why would they not allow you to do this?

Can you clarify? I can’t even imagine what “ascending” and “descending” mean when the subject is just a list of songs.

Sorry i should have been clearer. I mean most recently added i.e newest first/last.
