Hey guys, I have already ordered my imac, but need to make sure I did it right. When I was ordering filling out the payment information, there was a small box that said promotion code. Now, the promotions that I wanted to get were the free ipod and printer, but I thought that was a mail-in rebate thing. Did I need to put a promotion code into that box to get it?

No, you didn't have to put anything in that field. It's only for entering discount codes and such (most of which aren't good through the EDU store).

All you need for the iPod and printer promos is your receipt and the UPCs.

Alright, thanks, btw, which one is the reciept? I have been recieving e-mails from apple about order status, and the billing summary, but nothing that looks to much like a reciept. Does it come with your mac attached to the box?

You should receive an e-mail with a subject something like "Your Apple invoice #xxxxxxxx" either the day your computer ships or the following day. That's your receipt.

I just looked at my invoice and it doesn't show the chargement for the imac, printer, or ipod all together... Any ideas? All it does show is the chargement for each individual item. So to get the rebate do I just print the invoice for the ipod and imac, staple them together with the UPS tag, and send it to apple?
