ORDERED! 24" iMac

Just posting to get the excitment out of my system. I just ordered a 24" iMac with the following specs.

2.16GHz Intel Core 2 Duo
2GB 667 DDR2 SDRAM - 2x1GB
NVIDIA GEFORCE 7600 GT w/256
250GB Serial ATA Drive
SuperDrive 8X (DVDR-DL/CD-RW)
Bluetooth KB/Mouse

The ship date is 9/16/2006 and delivery is 9/25/2006. I am assuming that that is the worst case senario dates. Its been a while since i ordered anything from Apple.com. Are there shipping estimates accurate? I am really really hoping it will be here on friday. Which i know won't happen.

I know just how you feel... mine is due this Friday at 10:30am... and I leave for Palm Springs at noon... what luck... I will be thinking of it the entire weekend. Pray that it arrives Thursday... Mine was to ship on the 15th and arrive on the 20th... but it shipped on the 11th-12th... international date line...

Any way back to you... have you planned a space for it yet?
