Yeah, I think you'll get it sooner...unless you ordered the wireless keyboard.

how much sooner? do u think? i need it asap

From my experience, it will likely ship on the first day indicated rather than the last. It doesn't appear that you have expedited shipping, so you'll probably have to wait through that following weekend as well as Labor Day.

Labour Day this year will be Sept.3rd (first Monday of Sept.), so the weekend would last from Sept 1-3. Unless you can get the printer before Aug.31, you'd have to wait until after the Labour Day weekend. However, I did get my printer in 3 days. I ordered it on Sunday night, and got it around noon on Wednesday. Anyways, congrats on your purchase and good luck on your shipping. Maybe your sister can pick the printer up during the Thanksgiving weekend ;).

and import my photos and add them into iphoto

This is how i organized my familys photos on windows xp

There is my pictures
-then each folder inside my pictures represents like "an event" or "group" or photos such as graduation, boating summer 07, woodward dream cruise etc...

so how could i import the photos so i wouldnt loose the wonderfull groups i made? could someone explain it to me in full detail(that would be wonderfull)
people mentioned photo rolls...or dragging the folders into seperate events? im so confused..thanks for all the help

That won't work at all. You'll need to take your new camera, travel back to the original location with the original people, and retake each pic.

Time consuming, but it's the only way. ;)

(the above is an attempt at humor, for those non-funny individuals):D

It's kind of disturbing that Apple products cost 35-40% more here in Sweden and then students in USA get a free iPod and printer aswell and we get nothing... Not to mention an iPod Nano probably cost a lot more over here aswell :(

I absolutely HATE waiting for Apple products to ship! I ordered my first 15" TiBook through a reseller in town, and that took forever! Especially since that was the first time I had ever dropped 3 grand in one go!

My next purchase was a 12" iBook with free iPod via the education discount. The worst part about waiting for that to arrive was that it was in my town all weekend long, but they didn't deliver on saturdays, so I didn't get it until Monday. That was sooo aggravating!

Now I don't bother buying online anymore because I can't stand waiting for things to ship. I drove 16 hours round trip to my closest Apple Store to buy my PowerMac G5. It was fun though. My wife was five months pregnant at the time so it was our last little road trip prior to becoming parents. :)

And congrats on the iMac! It's going to be awesome! :D

Did you ever think about calling the FedEx sorting facility and asking if you could come and pick it up? Even though they sometimes don't deliver on Saturday, there ARE people there and usually that's an option.

i used to get that excited about computer products, but after a few arrivals of my new product, it just seemed hollow and shallow. I was left with an empty feeling inside, because I had invested so much time and emotion into the excitement of it, and it turned out to be just a computer... it never seemed to be as good as i had hyped it up to be. afterall, it really is just a computer. maybe i should go see my therapist now...
