I ordered a Macbook Pro yesterday night. I got the two day shipping, I said why not. And it gives me the time it should arrive, "Delivers by: May 9 - May 11". I was wondering from people's experiences, if they got it early, like the first day, in this case May 9th - or the later day - May 11th. Thanks, I'm just to impatient. I CAN'T WAIT FOR MY MAC!

It took me 20min to get my mac...picked it up from the store
but for you...I have a feeling that it will come late because thats how it was with by mac mini when I ordered it with 2 day shipping.
It also depends if you added options to your computer too....

From my experince. It said it would ship by April 19 - 23. It got shipped on April 21. So sometime in the middle of that range provided, which is not too fast, but too terrible slow either! I guess it depends on if yours is customized or not. If not, it will be faster like same day shipping or something. Hope you enjoy ur mac (Is this your first? if so, Welcome to the MAC world )

You will get it Tuesday or Wednesday. In CA it would be Tuesday outside of CA it will be Wednesday.
BTW, I have a feeling the MBP is going to be updated in 1-3 weeks. Maybe you should have waited or maybe they will accept returns or rebates.

even with the fact, that they say it's due wednesday - friday? i live on the east coast, if that makes so much a difference, I expect it would.
and yea, they are probably gonna update it soon, but I couldn't wait, I also need it for business purposes. and the fact that it's a mac. and I dread pc's.
i ordered the 15' inch, 2.33 GHz. I need something more portable than the 17 inch, 15 inch will do just fine

I just received notification that Fedex has my mbp. It says it was picked up in Middletown, and I live in Harrisburg - about 20 minutes away. This is what Fedex says:

There are transit times that have to be figured in. Your package unfortunately isn't the only package being shipped on that truck...

and does anyone recommend some good software that I might want to purchase - or even ask for for my birthday. I already got my copies of xp and vista to install when it comes - so I can hopefully do some gaming action. But other than that, I also got Photoshop CS3, and all that, made sure to make Adobe switch me over to the Mac version. I don't know, is there anything I would truely need? Any programs that make life easier that you guys use on a regular basis, that would be fit for the guy thats almost always on the computer
The Fed Ex tracking is right on. I have never had an issue. They said my MP was going to arrive in 4 days and it did.

I will almost never go into windows, but when i do, i wont even notice im on windows, ill be playing a game. I don't like windows, I won't use it any longer than I have to
