You won't as long you do 2 things.
(1) After you get your new beauty don't go on this forum looking for problems because based on your posting you are already going there. If it ain't broke (in your eyes) don't come to the forums to get it fixed.
(2) Enjoy your new iMac.
Check it over thoroughly when you get it. Then when you have seen that all your worrying was for nought, enjoy it.
(3) As soon as you get your new imac calibrate the screen
See, it's posts like yours is why the OP is a bit nervous. Give him a chance to look at the iMac first, it may not bother him, my screen looks great to me.

I just ordered mine today as well. 24" 2.4GHz 500GB drive, and ordered 4GB RAM online. Can't wait!

I also ordered mine today, but just the stock machine no BTO. I'll order another gig of RAM tonight, and probably a 500gb external HDD as well.
Must have been a good day to spend money.
