So I've done it. I viewed as many posts as I could, replied to posts, created threads and even PM'd people for advice.
My 17" MacBook Pro with Glossy Hi-Res screen, 7200rpm 160Gb HDD and 3 year Apple Care will be arriving on the 17th of September. Actually it's arriving this Wednesday but my friend in the US is buying it for me (ain't friends nice!) and she won't be here till the 17th.
So now I gotta wait. Gotta put those MBP thoughts out of my head. Gotta keep focused on every day activities and work. But how can I? I'm literally counting the days over here, viewing more pics and videos of my new wonder machine than I did before I ordered it.
How do you do it, experienced Mac owners? Argh! How do you remain calm when the days seem to be getting longer and longer ...
P.S. Will a normal 2 to 3 pin plug adapter work with the US MBP in the UK?
And will there be any problem getting a Wi-Fi signal over here? My sister's PC laptop's wirless software needed to be reinstalled for Europe in order to get it to work.
