Ordered my first Mac! - thank you forum members

First off I want to say thank you to all members for helping me purchase my first Mac. I lurked reading for the longest time and decided to go with the 2.8 refurb iMac for $1199.

Thank you to all, can't wait to officially join the family of Mac owners and hopefully Saturday I will have it, chose overnight delivery.

I guess this is where I tell you I have an imac and a macbook pro and some ipdods and some iphones and stuff.

What's an ipdod, are they cool and should we buy one?

I pulled the trigger, too, on the 24" 2.8GHz. I'm upgrading from a White 20" 2.16GHz. 'Also ordered a Kingston 4GB matched pair (P/N KTA-MB800K2/4G) for $49.

I'm excited!

I just ordered my first mac too. Although I will have to wait a bit before I can get it due to the customized configuration, I am quite excited. I've been waiting for a mac for so long, pass on the unibody Macbook Pro last year to wait for the Intel Nehalem. It's disappointing that Apple won't put quad-core CPU in the new iMacs, but it will do for now. Can't wait for it to arrive!
