Just ordered an i7 iMac today to replace my old trust Q6600 PC Over Clocked @ 3.6Ghz with 8GB RAM.

I'm in Australia. Does anyone know how long the wait will be?

I ordered an iMac with core i7 just two days ago and it shipped yesterday night from Shanghai!

I might just be lucky though. Anyhow the "ships in" time listed on the apple store is now 5-6 days.

Actually, estimated time to ship is now officially listed as 5 to 7 days. However, recent orders placed have shipped in 2 to 3 days.

Depending on you country ship times are different. In you case it should ship within 2 weeks.
