Hello

I Ordered a new Mac Pro on 19th. Ordered with Credit Card and lost the Card now. I will get a new one by Tuesday.
However, is it possible to change my Payment method without them cancelling and reordering the Mac Pro?

Does anybody know? The Apple Store Costumer Support is currently closed in my country and I just need an answer so I can sleep,...lol.

Thanks

Somebody else had a similar issue in that his card expired before they took the payment. He had to re-order. Not sure if he got put in the same position in the queue or he was sent to the back though. It's in the forums somewhere if you search for things like "expired"

Unless they try to ship your Pro within the next few hours (before customer support re-opens) and charge your CC, you should be able to change the order with customer support. Normally this can't be done, but since there's such long delays with the Mac Pro, they can probably get the new CC number into the system before it ships.

No you are not screwed. I cancelled my card last week because of fraud. I called apple explained the situation (12/20 order). Replacement card arrived and you go in a modify the order with the new card is what apple will tell you. But call them like I did and let them know.

In the UK, credit cards that are cancelled due to loss will still accept credits onto them but will not allow any charges, of course.

If you do nothing, the charge will bounce when they come to prepare your nMP for shipping so you need to contact them and update your payment details. Any company that accepts preorders on items should be able to handle that without resetting your position in the queue.

thanks so much for your replies. I will try to call tomorrow and settle this.
So shall I best call and tell them that I will deliver the new payment information around tuesday. I don't think that they will charge the card by tuesday anyway...
