Ordered S6, excited. Should I go for Sports loop as 2nd strap though?

Hi All,


I’ve taken the plunged and finally ordered the S6. Last night, I noticed the delivery dates changed from Start of November to 14th Oct for some reason. Its a Alu, 40mm, silver with a Velcro Sports loop.

Happy!


I ordered a Nike band as well, for sweaty sports.

Thinking about it, should I go for another Velcro Sports loop, and just rotate the 2 loops?

I’ve got issues typing with the Nike band, buying another one is a bit off, thinking about it

Just got a text saying the nike band has been shipped. Is it too late to cancel and change the band? It was all one order, can I cancel just one part of the order even?

I prefer Sport Loop for sweaty runs. Even as owner of a Nike+ Sport Band.

Can’t answer about changing and what you can do or how’d it affect timing. Probably a good question for Apple Support

I have been wearing the Nike sport bands the past few years and just got a sport loop and like it slot better. My 6 came with the Nike sport band but I left it in the package and bought the loop so I would get my watch faster.

Didn’t think of buying them that way!

I checked tonight, and phew for me... the delivery time is the same

The Nike band has arrived already. I may do a “Teardown” of mine own, my old Nike band for the 38mm series 2, compared to a modern day Nike band for the new 40mm S6 watches. I could be wrong, but I thought the page said that the new nike band I just bought would fit my old watch as well (?!)

MM, I believe they are interchangeable. I find that the pin attachment bothers my wrist, whereas the sport loop just fits better. Enjoy your watch!

Cool, I’m allowed to open the box tommorow night onwards, so will compare then.

It’s not the pin itself that bother me, it more the end of the strap, the side with the Pin in it. It “Digs in” etc, when the watch moves around when I type, with the bottom of the strap dragging around on table where I am resting my arm/Wrist.

THe Nike strap will be good for sweaty sports though, and possibly for sleeping with (Oddly enough.)

I’ll have to try and see which is better I suppose - The velcro Sports loop or the Nike band/Strap
