Hello all,

Hope you are all doing well.

I want the MPB 16 maxed out 8TB on apples site -- its i guess a "BTO" and has a deliver date of around the week of august 9.

Don't really wanna wait that long, so I did some searching and see BH seems to have the exact same model --

I just ordered this and should get it in less than a week.

I would assume this is the same exact model I would get direct from apple, but I guess the only difference would be build date correct? BH says "Late 2021" and that is what I saw on apple's site.

This is my first time getting a mac and I'm not all up on the apple lingo and if i am indeed getting the latest maxed out build of the MBP 16.

TL;DR -- is the BH model of MBP 16 8TB they sell the same as the one on apples site?

Thank you for your responses.

The B&H models are drop-shipped directly from Apple's factories in China. So yes, they're identical.

It's unlikely the shipping dates are better from B&H, so don't get too frustrated if it takes longer and is similar to the date(s) Apple quoted.

Although your link does say "In Stock", so it might actually get to you faster if their website is accurate. Else, be prepared to wait.

My experience with B&H is that if they say an item is in stock, it's in their warehouse.
The only concern I have with buying computers from them is that they have a "no returns" policy if the computer has been opened.
