I ordered 2 ipad and they came the launch day, I ordered two more ipads for my family a week back (with a differnet apple account, but other then the email addres every thing else was same as 1st order )

my order was fine and ipads were shipped ..they were on the fedex truck OUT FOR DELIVERY and then they tracking shows exception , customer not at home or business close. fedex never tried delivering basically, looking at the tracking change I called fedex and they said apple asked us not to delivery the package and they are going back to apple... I called apple and they had no idea what fedex was talking about ... within few house the tracking shows it was being send back to apple warehouse some place in CA.

my credit card was charged ... when i tried looking online i see there is a 2 ipad limit ... can this be the reason they were send back while they were out for delivery ? have some one experience some thing like this ever? there is nothing wrong with my address i get ups/usps/fedex delivery to my address all the time. i am just confused why they are going back

If your card was charged and it was shipped. It wouldn't be recalled for that reason of the limit. Maybe they boxed the wrong models?

hummm my card was charged yes! and they were coming from china .. two separate boxes ... i cant be on phone for too long ... and they don't do customer service on chat... when i did call and asked the customer service rep he had no idea why this was.. he sand maybe fed-ex didn't find my address or some thing ... which is not the case.. i don't know why they are going back

What does Apple Customer Service say. They are the ones who originated the return. I believe they were sending you the wrong ones.

when i called apple ... the guy at customer service had no idea why they were being returned by fed-ex , he asked me to wait for few minutes and cheeked few screens still the same thing .. nothing on there end ! and if i called fedex they said Shipper asked us not to deliver

have this happened to any one here?
