My GF who I share my machines with is a student. Normally when I buy a machine at the Apple store all she has to do is show her ID and we get the discount as I am the one paying. I ordered the nMP on the educational site and it let me order it using my CC and it didn't ask for the student information. I did say some where in fine print they may audit purchases. Anyone have any experience on this?

Thanks

Apple can ask for verification of your eligibility, but they don't do it on all transactions.

I've always ordered using the education discount and never ran into issues. I've also been a student for a long time, and I work in education, so there's that.

I doubt they'll even question it. Not worth their time.

from an apple store employee...we take our customers at their word.

I always order from the education store and never encountered a problem.
