I've searched the formus and didn't find anything.

I thought I saw a way to allow one to organize contacts in categories such as "Friends", "Work", "Girlfriends", etc. Am I mistaken?

Thanks in advance,

Jake.

There is. You have to organize them in Address Book, and then sync them over, though.

Does this work with Outlook's address book or only with iCal or what is used for Macs?

Is this method backwards compatible... meaning... can I:

- export the contacts, already on my phone, to Outlook
- then organize them
- then re-sync them back onto my phone?

AFAIK it works with Outlook. I forget how to organize contacts, but there's some sort of label you can apply to divide them up. And yes, you should be able to sync to your computer, sort, and resync. I certainly can on my Mac...

I am wondering the same thing. Has anyone come up with an answer or workaround?
