It's pretty temperamental, drives either don't mount or drop out after a few minutes. I have the extra power coming from a connector in my 4th sata port.
I have a feeling it's this card stopping my boot camp working too.
What's the best card for me. I've read the USB 3 thread and am thinking the Inateck kt4004. I don't really mind what I spend I just want it to work
The main thing I want it for is external storage, specifically an OWC Envoy
