Do you know where Apple's original bands sell at a discount?

Here's what I know:

Everyone raves about the sport loops. I thought they looked terrible.

But I was curious so grabbed a cheap 3rd party one. And I love it.

Makes me wonder if there’s a reason to buy an apple one. I may.....

I bought a Knock off sport loop recently and the quality wasn’t the same. The stitching in the band literally came apart. The quality of the authentic bands seems unmatched to me, so I ordered two of these discounted bands. The Hibiscus color is so nice and bright.

I've had a 3rd party knockoff of the Nike+ reflective black sport loop for a year. Biggest difference from the Apple ones is that the velcro pads don't easily pass through the part which attaches to the watch. It's tolerable, but takes a noticeable effort when putting on the watch in the morning. I tried another version of the same and had the same issue.

With the official Apple sport loops I've tried, there's no such binding.

Whether that's worth the price difference to you or not is a personal matter. For me after trying and disliking the new two-tone sport loops this year I bought an openbox black Apple sportloop from bestbuy a month ago.

What about the lugs? I bought a knockoff and it wouldn’t even fit, some pix they look really loose and others they look perfectly flush like OEM.

Some knockoffs I bought previously of the sport bands were either too thin or lug-loose compared to the comfort of the original Apple bands. Sometimes I had the fear the lugs would snap out lol! Changed back to 100% original Apple bands from then on...

on the other hand, I do think legit non-knockoffs are interesting and mostly come in good quality. eg the pad and quill, nomad official bands~

The one I have fit fine.

As you note, results can vary - some may be fine and some may not be.

I decided to try the Apple Watch again and I’m finding it more useful then I did a year ago. I originally bought the indigo sport loop a year ago at full price as well as the watch. I returned both less than 24 hours later. I was extremely pleased to see the Indigo sport loop so cheap on Amazon. In the short time I owned it I absolutely loved it. Of course I went searching for it when I bought the watch again. I might buy another to have as a backup.
