i looked the other day for the same reason and it seems to have disappeared from my purchase history. i'm guessing it's intentional bs by apple to force you to upgrade

It is intentional. It’s also ruined my uni course as I can’t get some plugins to work and can’t now go back to sierra. This is the new Apple. Charge as much as you can, take the customers choices away from them and offer no help. I’m going to sell all my macs and return my latest pair of iPhone 8 plus 256gb and move away from Apple. If I’m shafted anyway for this work I’ve done now then I may as well move. The days of “it just works” have gone forever with that money grabbing parasite at the helm.

Thanks for sharing that link, KRivers. I recently bought a Mac Book Pro which came preinstalled with macOS Sierra 10.12.6 but thought I couldn't download it since High Sierra was already out on the App Store.

In fact, Sierra or High Sierra doesn't show up on my App Store purchased list (see attached screenshot) like it does with El Capitan, Yosemite, etc. even though I've already downloaded both.

Is this right? Do others have the same issue?
