iPhone X Original IP X....vibrates even after call is rejected

This happens sometimes....not often

I'll get a call on whatsapp and even if I reject it, the phone keeps vibrating till I turn it off.

Im on the latest version of whatsapp and iOS is up to date. Phone was purchased in Nov 2017 so still under warranty.
Apple hotline gave some elusive answers like updating software etc all of which Ive done.

Anyone else experienced this?

It's not a huge issue but it I'd rather it didn't happen.

I don't think your Apple warranty will cover a bug in WhatsApp.

so you think it could be a whatsapp bug? I've had this happen even on a facetime and regular call.
