Just want to let everyone know, iPad Air flawless after the update. Only have about an hour or so in but she’s running smooth.

Battery life seems the same as before, and hardly any extra lag.

I know I know, it’s an old device and I’m updating to a pro next month but wanted to let other original air owners it won’t kill the experience!

Does OS11 give the iPad Air split screen capabilities?

Nah not that I can tell. Mainly the dock and obviously new control center etc. nothing extra I can thing of.
[doublepost=1505866880][/doublepost]You can pull the dock up while running apps and I tried grabbing messages while runnng safari, dragged it to the right and it didn’t open another window on the right side of the iPad.

I have a problem on my ipad air, I cant activate iMessage and FaceTime, my apple ID works, but when i want to sing in on iMessage it seys "An error occurred during activatiom. Try again." I dont khow what to do, PLS HELP!

It could just be a server issue. I have had this happen before. First you can check for any iCloud outages. Or possibly just wait a little bit and try to activate iMessage again.

I’m sorry unfortunately I do not. Possibly try logging out of iTunes then logging back in on the same device and then give it another try.

You could also call Apple and let them know you just downloaded ios11, they will give free tech support for software over the phone.

Good to know. Alas, I'm keeping my iPad Air on iOS 9.3.5. I use it to take screenshots from Netflix and HBONow.

Good to know, thanks. I usually update to that latest iOS version for security reasons if anything else.

My concern is the lack of support for 32bit Apps, which 'I think' I have a few that I currently use. Is there an easy way to check and see if an app is 32bit?
