Possibly, I might wait if my macmini C2D 1.83 4gb ram 7200rpm HDD can do all it's asked
will be doing some some serious audio editing / mixing / recording soon

oh ok. its getting on a bit, but for audio recording it should be alright - provided that you arent using synth tracks and all that. for recording one track at a time even my old MBP is fine for recording!

you play an instrument?

I try too. :)

yeh music is a consuming entity for me atm, I'm doing everything from play drums in a wedding/functions band to Mastering my own tracks, the only thing I don't do is sing

nice video :D i play drums too incase you didnt notice lol! there are lots of things you need to work on technique wise but you have some very good ideas that have a lot of potential.

nice area you are in there :) love the bush.

thanks mate :D those recordings were for a friend, i did a rough copy to show him what the drums would sound like. the finished product sounds ALOT better LOL! gotta love midi tracks :D

yea the ear muffs are really good, i put my headphones on then them over the top with tissues stuffed in them because i tend to play too loud haha. :)
