Im new to macintosh's and having bought a 2ndhand ibook runniing 10.1 ive just realised that many apps specify 10.2.

I'm configuring my mac for my final year comp sci project (java, php and mysql) and I need to get it all configured within the next few weeks.

I've had tons of probs getting everything running on the mac and have got to the point where u just wanna chuck the pooter outta the window ...lol.

Im a totally broke student and was wondering if its possible to get hold of a super cheap copy of OS X 10.2 from anywhere. (i dont have p2p access as its blocked on uni campus)

I simply hadnt factored in the cost of purchasing a new OS X assuming that newer applications would be compatible (as in windoze)

Thanks

I've seen OS X 10.2 on Amazon.com for around $35-60 from their used/third party connections. They have descriptions for each one (like the cheaper one may lack the box or instruction manuals) but for a cheap way to get your hands on Jaguar, that's one way to go.
