I'm running into a minor printer annoyance using Panther, and I don't seem to remember it from previous OS versions. Reverse page order is set to the default in the print dialog (I'm using the Epson 740 driver, if it matters). This is fine if you want to print one sided, but I like to print the odd pages, then run them back through for two-sided printing. This means that if I reverse the page order all the pages come out the wrong way. So what's the problem? Even if I uncheck the "Reverse Page Order" option, every job I print comes out last page first. That's right, whether that box is checked or not, pages come out backwards. Anyone else have this problem? Any solutions out there?

Greetings from a long time user, first time poster from OZ.

I had the same troubles with my own Samsung Printer and 10.3.2

It's really not that hard to fix (but then again I did it a little while ago so it's hard to remember). First create a new preset, with the correct page order checked, and save it as "preset 2" or something. Now you need to go to ~\Users\Yourusername\Library\preferences\com.apple.print.custompresets.plist

In Property List editor,in 'Root' change the property 'Standard' to 'preset 2' or whatever you named it, restart and it should be the default the next time you bring up a print dialog. I think that's how you do it....
