OS 10.8 and 2009 Firmware Upgrade

Has anyone in the forums tried the 10.8 developer previews with their firmware upgraded 2009 MacPro?

Just curious if anyone thinks apple is gonna throw a monkey wrench in works to prevent installation of the upcoming OS.

I personally would hope not, I've already invested in the faster ram and cpu but waiting at the moment to reinstall the firmware and install the cpu as I'm still under apple care and debating whether or not to wait till it expires.
But knowing my impatience I probably will before it expires.

They'd have to go way out of their way to tell the difference between a flashed 2009 and a 2010.
