Last week, i was upgrade my iPhone 2G to version 3.0

i found that my iphone get hot everytimes ,

only 4~5 hurs standby time after fully charge.

On the other hand, iPhone was unable to receive phone call sometimes ,

also SMS . even the Signal Strength was shown as Maximum !!

so what is the problem ?

i found two things to prove ,

First , while i am putting my phone on my laptop ,

some "Zi ... Zi .... Zi " sound was out from my earphone ( loudly ) !

P.S. 1 ( Earphone is connected to my laptop )

P.S. 2 ( Already turn off the Push Message and Wi-fi )

after i downgrade to 2.2.1 , no more sound come out ! .....

Second , while i am playing Need for Speed , it is very very lag ,

after i switch to airplane more , no more lag !!

....

All in All , i think that Apple was made a big mistake on the Firmware Network

Modules , it will cause iPhone send out the Signal ,

Non-Stop and Fully Power. so it is the reason why my iPhone is hot , Short

Standby time , Unable to receieve a call , etc

i hope Apple will fix it as soon as possible .

same exact problem here on my 2G. phone gets extremely hot and battery life dies in a few hours...laggy gaming unlike on 2.2.1.

same here, I'm charging my phone 2 or 3 times a day. I make maybe 2 5 minute calls a day, send 2 sms, and do 5 minutes web browsing.

I have wifi, location services and notifications on.

Even with the usage and setup above I should get more than 4 hours standby.

It's not just the 2G, same here on 3G. My battery drains very quickly and heats up alot when you charge it.

Same like my IPhone 2G using 3.0 version, no receiving calls and battery power is only 4 to 5 hours,
And i could not able to Downgrade to 2.2.1, some 1600 and 1601 error message is coming.

Please help me how to downgrade.
