is there a way to lock the desktops of restricted users?

thanks

Are you able to locate the Desktop Folder, get info, and lock it there, or is the lock check box disabled? I think this folder is inside each user's home when there are multiple users. It might be invisible, in which case you would need a third party utility to see it. I would have tested this, but when I tried to set up multiple users in OS 9 it would crash every time I tried to log in.

it is just a regular folder. there is no lock option in the get info panel

there has to be a hack here. if "multiple users" can deny write permission in restricted mode to root folders, i like to know how. there is also a shared documents in the users folder that is vulnerable
