Does anyone here just completely delete OS 9. I still have it and have no programs that run it. Is it worth deleting, and if so how much diskspace will it free up.

If you really need the space, then you could delete it. But keep in mind, that if you do, then you won't be able to open any OS 9 stuff other people send you.

Just wait...say today you delete it...by tonight you will suddenly come across something that requires that you use it. Isn't there something in Murphey's law about this? :p

The only way I will get rid of OS9 is if Apple Intergrates Classic into OSX, with out the need for a full install of OS9. It would also help if SC3k, Warcraft II, or Unreal Tournement ran either nativly in OSX or actuall ran OK under classic. (Warcraft II will start, but not load any games, same for SC3k.) I also want to see IPX in OSX for Starcraft.

i reformated my pismo's drive about a year ago and i didn't bother reinstalling os 9 and i've managed fine without classic. that said, i'll probably keep classic IF i get a new powerbook.
