Is it possible that Apple hasn't spent much time on developing the iPad OS for it and just the matter of software catching up to the hardware?

The reason I'm asking is that the current 3.2 OS on it looks soo...last minute thing they hacked just to get the product out on the market. Look at the stupid 3-4 apps on the dock, why when it can use more than 6?

Isn't it possible the lack of multitasking is just due to them not being ready with OS 4.0 which could bring the true multitasking among other things?

It just makes no sense to me why they don't have multitasking in iPad.

Apple do have history of doing this (Web Apps/App Store, Copy&Paste). I think OS 4.0 is the one that'll bring out the true power behind iPad.
