I'm seeing many cases of people with both, Air and Pros, where if they go to reinstall the OS for whatever reason..they are met with an error message and pretty much no way to get pass it. Only thing I've seen Apple suggest is to connect a second Mac to do a recovery, which isn't an option for most owners. This is also happening to people who already updated to 11.0.1 after it came out from the box. What do you think Apple will do for a fix on this issue and what are they doing to help those affected?

Best to give their support team a call or chat with them online if you don't have a second Mac.

How do people do that though if there’s no user profile existent?
Not sure what you meant. Are you looking at the "Or use Terminal in macOS Recovery" section on Apple's docs (https://support.apple.com/en-us/HT211983)?

You just need to boot your computer in Recovery mode, click Options and follow from there. Even after I erased my disk, I was still presented to the screen where you can choose Terminal, just skipping the step where it asks for an user.

I followed the steps on the terminal reinstall and was still met with the usual error message. Thank you all for the suggestions, just not sure what the next step is. Really surprised this one slipped by Apple
